Directions
24 Thorndike Street, Cambridge is located across Second Street from the Middlesex
Superior Courthouse (a 23-story building, by far the tallest in the neighborhood).
It is two blocks from the Lechmere MBTA station and one block from the Cambridgeside
Galleria.
From the Massachusetts Turnpike
Exit 24B to Interstate 93N (the Expressway),
then as explained below:
From the Expressway (Interstate 93) North/South & Tobin Bridge
- Exit Interstate
93 at the Storrow Drive West exit.
- If driving from the south on 93N, stay to
the left at the end of the Storrow Drive entrance ramp. (Follow signs
for North Station/Leverett Circle.)
- If driving from the north on 93S, take the new Storrow
Drive exit before the Zakim Bridge. Stay to the right at the end of
the Storrow Drive entrance ramp.
- Turn right onto Route 28 (McGrath Highway), following signs for the Museum
of Science, which you will pass on your left.
- Cross Cambridge Parkway/Memorial
Drive (main intersection).
- Bear left onto Cambridge Street and turn left immediately
at First Street. The Cambridgeside Galleria will be on your left.
- Turn right
onto Spring Street (the third block)
Parking options
- Park in the Cambridge Municipal Parking Garage entrance immediately
on the right on Spring Street.
- Continue and turn right at Second Street (the next corner).
Turn right on Thorndike Street. 24 Thorndike is right at the corner.
There is metered parking on Thorndike Street and elsewhere in the neighborhood.
By public transportation
- Take the Green Line to Lechmere Station (any train
to North Station, then wait for a Lechmere train on the same platform.)
- Exit
on the Cambridge Street side of the station.
- Walk west on Cambridge Street.
- Turn left on Second Street (at the old red-brick
Registry of Deeds.)
- Thorndike Street is two blocks down. 24 Thorndike is just
at the corner.
My office is on the third floor.
